Lost and Found, Victoria Baths, Etsy

I'm very pleased and excited to be working on developing a performance for this year's Lost and Found Festival in Manchester. Not giving too much away just yet, but keep an eye out for some very peculiar animals out and about around the city on the 27th September!

Lost and Found Festival runs from the 26th to 28th of September and there will be all sorts of exciting happenings around the city.

After a short break to... well, graduate, panic and relax, I hope to crack on more with my 'Wildlife' book from now on, so watch this space!

Ill be leading a craft workshop at Victoria Baths in Manchester on Sunday 5th August, at the open day. If you're in the area, do pop in and say hello! It's a beautiful building and Olympic highlights will be being screened, and you can make a special felt medal with me! Details can be found on the Victoria Baths website.

I also have a new Etsy store up and running, with a few rather nice items you can purchase if you are so inclined! It can be found here http://www.etsy.com/shop/SlightlyOddAnimals and features these handsome fellas...

Animal Stew now available on Amazon!

Animal Stew is an anthology of short stories about animals, from MA writers at MMU.

Myself, some of my lovely coursemates and a few other artists created the illustrations and the book was launched at Manchester Children's Book Festival.

It's now available to buy online here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/1905476744/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new and it's rather lovely!

Painting of The Dresden Dolls to get rid of!

I'm trying to get rid of some old work. Much of it has ended up in the recycling, but I feel this painting is better than that.

If anyone is interested in buying it, please contact me via laniirving[AT]hotmail[DOT]co[DOT]uk

New drawing

New drawing, pencil with acrylic paint on paper. Bits of face and geometric shapes.
My first attempt to unite my love of drawing and my love of pattern.
